Antique Victorian gold heart locket c.1837-1901. The locket is set in 9ct gold on the back and front, this is indicated by the hallmark "9ct BK & FT". The interior of the locket will be a polished brass, this type of metal mix was very common in the Victorian era. The locket has floral etchings on the front of the piece. The pendant hangs from a new 9ct yellow gold trace chain. The locket is in excellent condition, measuring 2.6cm / 1" in height and 2cm / 0.7, hanging from a 18" chain.
